My main passion before the stroke was fishing and I did this from the shore or borrowing a boat.  Taking this passion out of Western New York also traveling out of this empire state; to try my luck in other areas of interest and even flew to remote waters in the country of Canada by getting to these lakes by an one engine air plane.  Catch and release, eat or just for the sport kept me interested with this passion.  My stroke ended all those activities but I experience enough passionate memories to write short stories about this passion I developed for the sport of fishing.  My memories captured the orange, blue or purple mountain skies weather it was from a boat or on the Niagara River shores.  Those memories also remembered are the feelings of  waves slashing and the sounds it made as they hit the shores or against the sides of a barrowed boat and also the different scents of nature that captured and enhanced memories.

I am lucky to be born in this nation, luckier it is near the Niagara River in the Western New York region of New York State and now one of the luckiest people in the world.  Because, I am still living and surviving a massive stroke that resulted me having quadriplegia but being able to write about my fishing experiences combined with my memories.  To help myself stay informed in my area, I read the most informed website, "Outdoors Niagara".  The fact that my father retired from owning the two leading local fishing tackle dealerships here in Western New York and since it was strictly family operated; my knowledge about this sport of fishing in these waters brought you my experiences told in these short fishing stories.
